“Nintama Rantaro the Movie: Dokutake Ninja Corps Strongest Strategist” will be released nationwide on December 20, 2024. A collaboration music video for the theme song “Yuki 100%” sung by Naniwa Danshi has been released. In addition to the exploits of the first-year Ha-class and sixth-graders, the video also includes action scenes of professional ninjas.
Since its broadcast, the anime “Nintama Rantaro” has been loved by a wide range of generations in various forms, including TV anime, musicals, and live-action movies.
This film, “Nintama Rantaro the Movie: Dokutake Ninja Corps Strongest Strategist,” is a film adaptation of the highly popular novel “Rantaro the Failed Ninja: Dokutake Ninja Corps Strongest Strategist.”
The director is Fujimori Masaya, who was the original character designer and also directed the previous film, “Nintama Rantaro the Movie: All Ninjutsu Academy Deployed!” released in 2011. The script is written by Sakaguchi Kazuhisa, author of “Novel: Failed Ninja Rantaro: Dokutake Ninja Corps: Strongest Strategist,” who also worked on the TV series. As with the TV series, animation production will continue to be handled by Asiado, with the familiar star-studded cast including Takayama Minami (Rantaro), Tanaka Mayumi (Kirimaru), Ichiryusai Sadatomo (Shinbei), Seki Toshihiko (Doi Hansuke), and more. This is truly the “strongest” lineup to take on this film.
This time, the collaboration music video for the theme song “Yuki 100%” sung by Naniwa Danshi has been released. Naniwa Danshi is the idol group to which Ryusei Onishi and Joichiro Fujiwara, who will appear as guest voice actors in this work, belong. Naniwa Danshi is also in charge of the theme song “Arigatou Kokoro ni”.
In this music video, the students of Class 1-Ha who are searching for the missing teacher Doi, the Tasogaredoki ninja army, the sixth graders of the Ninjutsu Academy, teacher Yamada and his son Rikichi, and others appear. In addition, Sakuragi Seiemon and Wakaoji Kanbei, played by Onishi Ryusei and Fujiwara Joichiro, are also seen. Daily life at the Ninjutsu Academy is shown.
Finally, Amagi appears in a highly realistic scene of him moving through a bamboo grove, creating a thrilling scene that evokes images of an unfolding event.
The two theme songs “Yuki 100%” and “Arigato Kokoro ni”, whose collaboration MVs have been released this time, are included in Naniwa Danshi’s digital singles. They are currently available on various music streaming and download services, so be sure to check them out before the movie is released.
