The movie “Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM” will be released on Blu-ray, 4K UHD-BD, and DVD on December 25, 2024. Rakuten Books has now revealed the design of the limited edition Blu-ray goods “Glowing Art Panel (Athrun & Shin),” as well as the limited first-come, first-served bonus “Choose from! Acrylic stand, foil-stamped visual card, and acrylic key chain with dialogue.”
Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM is the latest film in the popular TV series Mobile Suit Gundam SEED, which was released in theaters on January 26, 2024. Set in the era of CE (Cosmic Era), where humans (Coordinators) are born with superior physical abilities and intelligence through genetic manipulation, and humans (Naturals) are born naturally, the film follows the TV series and tells a completely new story about CE75.
The first special edition will be screened for a limited time from September 20th, and the second edition will start screenings from November 1st, attracting a lot of attention.
The designs for the limited edition goods and limited first-come-first-served bonuses on Rakuten Books, which were just released, feature original illustrations by character designer Hisashi Hirai, depicting Athrun Zala and Shin Asuka, who appear in the film.
