“The Pharmacist’s Monologue” Peek at Nekoneko and Jinshi through the gaps in the colored autumn leaves ♪ November visual released

The second season of the TV anime “The Apothecary Diaries” will be broadcast in two consecutive seasons starting on January 10, 2025. This time, as the fifth installment of the “Traveling Through the Four Seasons with Nekoneko and Jinshi” project that is held on the 22nd of every month, the November visual of Nekoneko and Jinshi peeking through the gaps of colored autumn leaves has been released.

“The Apothecary Diaries” is a harem mystery-solving entertainment based on the novel by Natsu Hinata, which has sold over 38 million copies and is currently being published by “Hero Bunko” and is being adapted into a comic in “Big Gangan” and “Sunday GX”. Set in the Middle Ages in the East, the story follows Nekoneko, a young girl who works as a “poison taster” and solves various difficult cases that occur in the palace one after another.

When the first season of the TV anime began airing in October 2023, it consistently ranked highly in the viewing rankings on various distribution platforms and became a hot topic, winning a special award at the “TVer Awards 2023”. In the second season, which will be broadcast in two consecutive seasons starting on January 10, 2025, Nekoneko, the daughter of a pharmacist with an abnormal obsession with poison and medicine, and the mysterious and handsome eunuch Jinshi take on even more difficult cases that unfold in the palace.

“Traveling through the four seasons with Nekoneko and Jinshi” is a project by the work in which it delivers new visuals themed around seasonal plants each month on Nekoneko Day, the 22nd of each month.

The November visual for the fifth installment, which was released this time, is based on the theme of autumn leaves. It shows Nekoneko cleaning up fallen leaves, and Jinshi removing the leaf that was on her head, as if peeking at the two of them through the gaps in the leaves. I hope you will feel the deepening of autumn.

The official website is currently distributing PC and smartphone wallpapers using this visual. In addition, the official X (formerly Twitter) account for the TV anime is holding a lottery to give away cards featuring this visual to five lucky winners, so fans should definitely give it a try.
