The 21st installment of the popular Precure series, “Wonderful Precure!” (abbreviated as WanPri), has been airing nationwide on ABC TV and TV Asahi networks since February 4, 2024. This season is themed around everyone’s favorite companions—animals—and promotes the message: “Animals and people can be friends too!” Set in the vibrant Animal Town, the story revolves around the bonds formed between humans and animals, such as pets and their owners.
For the upcoming Episode 31, titled “Nyanfluencer Mayu,” set to air on September 1, the first look images and episode synopsis have just been released!
Episode 31: “Nyanfluencer Mayu” Synopsis
The episode centers on Mayu (voiced by Reina Ueda), who loves capturing photos and videos of her adorable cat, Yuki (voiced by Sayaka Matsuda). Her friend Sumire suggests, “Why not upload Yuki’s photos to Curesta?” Mayu hesitates, but with a nudge from Yuki herself—”I’m the star, after all”—she decides to go for it.
The posts quickly become the talk of the town, attracting more customers to Pretty Holic, all eager to catch a glimpse of Yuki. Among the new fans is Tomoma Chiran, an old friend of Mayu’s from before she transferred schools, who also spots her posts.
One day, while taking his pet chinchilla to Iroha’s (voiced by Atsumi Tanezaki) family-run animal clinic, Tomoma discovers that Iroha and Mayu are acquainted. With some encouragement from his mother, he decides to visit Mayu at Pretty Holic. As he arrives, he spots Mayu on the terrace and tries to muster the courage to call out to her…
