From the anime “PUI PUI Molcar”, Potato and Shiromo have been released as “warm plush toys” with heaters built into their bellies. Currently, both “Warm Plush Toys PUI PUI Molcar Potato/Shiromo” are available for preorder on the online shopping site “Premium Bandai”.
“PUI PUI Molcar” is a stop-motion animation that features healing, friendship, adventure, and crazy action, with “Molcars” in a world where guinea pigs have become cars. Since its broadcast began in 2021, the show’s innovative world view, characters, and dynamic visuals have captivated children and adults alike with its cuteness and the uniqueness of having actual guinea pigs as voice actors.
It has sparked a global “Molcar boom,” and the new series “PUI PUI Molcar DRIVING SCHOOL,” which aired in 2022, was also well-received. The CG animated film “PUI PUI Molcar The Movie MOLMAX” is scheduled to be released on November 29, 2024.
The new “Warm Plush Toy PUI PUI Molcar” is a stuffed toy with heaters built into the bellies of Potato and Shiromo. When you plug the USB cable attached to the main unit into a USB port on your computer, it warms up in about 30 seconds.
If you place the stuffed toy on your lap and plug the cable into the port, your stomach and knees will gradually become warm. It makes using a computer or working at a desk on a cold day more comfortable. The preset temperature of about 42 to 46 degrees, the soft surface, and the elasticity of the stuffed toy make it a presence that you will want to keep with you forever.
The sculpture recreates the memorable, silly cuteness of Molcar. With a focus on the small mouth and plump cheek lines, Potato and Shiromo will bring you some relaxation time.
