We are now in November and it is time to enjoy the autumn leaves.
There are many characters in anime who evoke the color red, just like autumn leaves. They like to wear bright red outfits, have red hair or eyes, or have nicknames related to the color red.
So Anime! conducted its annual reader survey titled “Which character has the color red as their image color?”
The survey was conducted from November 9th to November 13th, and 593 people responded. The gender ratio was about 35 percent male, 55 percent female, and about 10 percent gave no response, with more females than males. In terms of age group, the majority were young people, with about 50 percent under 19 and about 15 percent in their 20s.
