An official pop-up store celebrating the first anniversary of the smartphone game “Jujutsu Kaisen Phantom Parade” has been held at Animate Ikebukuro Main Branch and Tenjin Loft in Fukuoka since November 21, 2024. Merchandise featuring illustrations of the four characters, Yuji Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro, Nobara Kugisaki, and Satoru Gojo, dressed in formal attire will also be available.
“Fanparade,” or “Jujutsu Kaisen Phantom Parade,” is the first smartphone game based on the TV anime “Jujutsu Kaisen,” which is based on the manga by Gege Akutami, whose six-and-a-half-year serialization in “Weekly Shonen Jump” ended in September 2024. The official service will begin on November 21, 2023, and as of August 15, 2024, it has exceeded 6 million downloads.
Not only can you relive the story of the first season of the TV anime, but it is also popular as a command battle RPG that allows you to enjoy an original story set in Fukuoka. It won the “Best IP Game” award at the “Sensor Tower APAC Awards 2023” announced in February 2024.
The series celebrated its first anniversary on November 21st, and to mark the occasion, official pop-up stores were opened at Animate Ikebukuro main store and Tenjin Loft in Fukuoka. The stores will be stocking merchandise featuring illustrations of the four characters, Yuji Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro, Nobara Kugisaki, and Satoru Gojo, dressed in formal attire from the in-game story event “The Magnificent Ghost Cruise” to commemorate the first anniversary, as well as a variety of other goods featuring illustrations featured in the game.
In addition, each store will offer a random gift for every 2,000 yen spent (tax included). Pre-orders will be available at the “Sumzap Store” from late December, so fans in the distance should definitely check it out.
