Park Sung-hoo is one of the most popular animation directors in the world today. He has directed many popular works such as “THE GOD OF HIGH SCHOOL”, the first season of the “Jujutsu Kaisen” TV series, the movie “Jujutsu Kaisen 0”, and “NINJA KAMUI”, and has been praised for his overwhelming action scenes and high quality animation. More information has now been announced about Director Park’s completely new original anime “BULLET/BULLET”.
Following Director Park, the main staff of this work has gathered a large number of masters in the world of anime. Series composition and scriptwriting will be handled by Kindaichi, who is the scriptwriter for the anime “Uma Musume Cinderella Gray.” Character design and general animation director will be Yoshimatsu Takahiro, who is the character designer for “HUNTER×HUNTER” and “Overlord.”
The concept and mechanic design will be handled by Hidetaka Tenjin, who is active in many fields, including mecha design and world design for animation and games, box art design for the “Gundam” and “STAR WARS” series, voice acting, and robot design. And for this film, where the car action is the highlight, Shin Misawa, who has directed “Initial D First Stage” and “Capeta”, will be the car action director. The impressive staff members have also made comments filled with expectations and joy.
Furthermore, a teaser visual drawn by character designer and chief animation director Yoshimatsu and concept and mechanic designer Tenjin has also been released. A beat-up classic car speeds through the wilderness. A boy holds the wheel, while a polar bear and a robot lean out of the back seat. Who are they? And what is the tower emitting light that lies ahead of them? Set in a near-future world where civilization has collapsed and become a wilderness, the visual foreshadows the start of a passionate journey.
The super trailer also showed the first footage of the film, full of speed. It depicts a car racing through a city of rubble. There’s a meter panel that goes off the rails, a truck that’s on fire, and even some cartoon-like characters… We can look forward to some flashy car action and a profound story.
